I Should Be Sleeping

I have no doubt that he thought it was time to get up. At 1:47 AM, I really needed to go to sleep. Alex was having fun running around though. Taking pictures of him didn't help matters any.

Why Am I Awake?

Alex has had a little trouble with bad dreams and/or GI problems for the last couple of nights. He was so upset that he wanted to leave his bedroom, so he got his way, and here he is at 1:39 AM.

Longest Bath Ever

He was so tired, but he just didn't want to get out of the bathtub. After 30 minutes or so, I drained the tub, but he was still plenty busy.

He's very possessive of this softball. He shrieks if you try to take it away from him. Just don't.

Still So Little

This photo struck me as interesting because one can clearly see that he is still such a small child. Normally, I have Alex closer in the picture, so its easy to forget that he's just 33 inches. He chased the ball down the driveway.

More Softball

I particularly enjoy the top two pictures. In the bottom right he's walking up the driveway toward the street. He is inexplicably drawn to the street.

About a year ago or so, we found this softball on the side of the road near where we live. Never one to pass an opportunity, I quickly jumped out of the car and grabbed that softball thinking it might one day be a good photo prop.

My cat, Sluggo, is not sure what to make of Alex. They infrequently share the same space. But here they are sort of together.

His new favorite thing is Classical Baby. Its a nice little program. Preferable, overall, to Teletubbies. And even THAT is okay when you get used to it.
